Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct (CoC) aims at promoting and advancing ‘responsible lending’ practices in our business. Ensuring the clients’ interests and prioritised and protected, improve the client’s well-being as well as to ensure the well-being and security of employees. Being the member of Sa-Dhan, We follow the code of conduct and core values per the Reserve Bank of India and Self-Regulatory Bodies – Sa-Dhan & MFIN.

Fair Practice code

The Fair Practice Code defines the elements of the Code for Responsible Lending (CRL) which is sector specific and entity agnostic. Building on key regulatory customer-protection measures as described in RBI Master Directions for NBFC-MFIs and applies to the delivery of micro-credit to customers, individually or in groups either on its own or through an agent by Providers. 

Client Grievance Redressal

WeGrow being a financial service provider to the under-financed and the under-privileged sections of society, believes that client-servicing is the most important tool for sustained business growth. Organisation’s Grievance Redressal Policy articulates our objective to minimize instances that give rise to customer complaints and create a review mechanism to ensure consistently superior service behavior. 

Interest Rate Policy for the year 2022-23

WeGrow  is committed to adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to ensure transparency and fairness in our interest rate policy. Our interest rates are determined based on the cost of funds, operational expenses, risk factors, and regulatory requirements outlined by the RBI & Microfinance Institutions (MFI) Regulations in setting interest rates, ensuring affordability for our customers.

WeGrow Credit Policy

Our Credit Policy involves meticulous risk assessment and credit scoring to ensure the financial well-being of our clients. Explore a diverse array of loan products, each offering clear terms and customized repayment structure. We embrace technology for efficiency, real time monitoring, and predictive analytics ensuring a secure lending environment. Regular reviews keep our policies adaptive with regulatory restriction. 

Risk Management Policy

In pursuit of advancing stake holders value WeGrow has formulated a risk Management Policy to guide its approach and decision-making process. This well-organised strategic Risk Management framework aims to protect rights and value of stakeholders. Risk Management Policy of the Company seeks to minimise unfavourable impact on the business objective and develop stakeholder value. 

Information Technology Policy

WeGrow follow IT policies aimed at ensuring data security, privacy, and efficient information management. These policies cover area such as network security, data encrypton, access control and regular audit to comply with regulatory standards. This policy also address technology risk management, disaster recovery and guidelines for the use of electronic system.  

Asset And Liability Management Policy

Through continuous monitoring and strategic planning, our Asset Liability Management (ALM) policy aims to uphold financial stability, enhance profitability, and safeguard against market volatility, demonstrating our commitment to sound financial management practices. Wegrow's ALM policy is meticulously crafted to ensure the prudent management of financial risks.

Our Business Continuity Plan  is a testament to our proactive approach in navigating uncertainties and safeguarding the interests of those we serve.The benefit of Business Continuity Plan includes the ability to anticipate and plan for response actions 

Prevention of sexual Harassment Policy

Our Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy is a commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for all employees. It defines guidelines to prevent and address instances of sexual harassment, fostering a culture of zero tolerance. By upholding this policy, we aim to create a work environment where every individual feels secure, respected, and empowered.

The Provisioning Policy

Our Provisioning policy aims to ensure prudence in recognising and addressing credit risks. The policy establishes criteria for determining the level of provisions, taking into account the creditworthiness of borrowers, economic conditions, and historical loan performance. This proactive approach enhances the institution's resilience by adequately preparing for potential credit losses while adhering to regulatory standards.

Gender Policy

WeGrow is committed to fostering gender equality through a comprehensive Gender Policy. This policy emphasises equal opportunities for all genders within the organization, promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment.Gender equality is a sensitive issue which requires commitment from every level of the organization and the integration of gender-perspective into all activities.

Related Party Transactions Policy

Related Party Transactions Policy of WeGrow, underscoring our commitment to transparency and ethical business practices. with Precise definitions of related parties to avoid ambiguity streamlining processes for approval to ensure compliance improved disclosure mechanisms for comprehensive reporting. The Policy is aimed at setting out a governance framework for handling related party.

Anti-Corruption & Fraud Prevention

WeGrow follow a stringent Anti-Corruption and Fraud prevention policy. Our Fraud Prevention Policy employs proactive measures to detect and prevent fraudulent activities within our organization. We employ robust systems for real-time monitoring, implement stringent internal controls, and conduct regular risk assessments.   

 Confidentiality Policy 

Respecting privacy is paramount. Our confidentiality policy safeguards all non-public, sensitive information collected during financial transactions. This policy is applicable to all employees of WeGrow. We adhere to stringent data protection measures, ensuring the utmost confidentiality and security. Trust is our priority and we are committed to upholding the highest standards in safeguarding personal and financial information.  

Whistle-blower Policy 

Our Whistle-blower Policy encourages employees and stakeholders to report any unethical or illegal activities within WeGrow. The anonymity of whistle blowers is protected, and we ensure a transparent and confidential investigation process. Our whistle blower policy empowers employees to confidentially report any misconduct or concerns they may have. 

Know Your Customer (KYC) / Anti Money Laundering (AML) / Combating The Financing of Terrorism (CFT) Policy

​Our KYC/AML/CFT policy ensures rigorous customer due diligence, identity verification, and transaction monitoring to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. We are committed to complying with regulatory requirements, maintaining the integrity of financial systems, and fostering a culture of awareness and compliance within our organization.
